Edmund Do Nacimento "Pele"

 Edmund Do Nacimento

Edmund do Nacimento known as Pele is the greatest soccer player to have ever played the beautiful sport. We know that the story of Pele is fascinating because of the manner that he improved upon his soccer skills without having the resources to play soccer. Instead of having a private coach, expensive cleats, and a fancy stadium in which to practice, Pele could not afford a soccer ball or cleats. Pele juggled an orange and improved upon his skills. We learn that Pele dedicated himself to improving upon his soccer skill set so much so that he lived, breathed, and played soccer. We are able to learn from Pele about discipline, innovation, determination, and humility.

Edmund do Nacimento improved upon his soccer skills that he became the best soccer player to ever play the sport. We learn that he was able to win three World Cups with Brazil starting the first World Cup win when he played for Brazil's national team at the age of sixteen. While only being sixteen years of age, Pele helped bolster his team so much that they won a World Cup. Not only did Pele help Brazil win a World Cup, but he repeated the accomplishment two more times. We know that Pele played the position of forward and amazed with how he helped revolutionize the sport of soccer.

We began to learn about the importance of not only being fast and disciplined, but we also learned about the manner that strikers could be skilled at juking and disorienting defenses by themselves. We began to see how striking forwards could be important at destabilizing a defense. We learn that Pele was able to innovate the sport with new manners to juke and strike that had never been seen in the past. We learn that the Pele kick is another innovation of Pele that describes using unorthodox soccer skills to surprise goalkeepers and defenders. There were other skillful moves that Pele helped innovate that caused soccer to improve tremendously into a fast paced and at the same time logical sport.

We learn that all these achievements were done because of Pele's discipline, determination, and motivation to make the most out of the things he had. We know that he did not make excuses and instead decided to discipline himself even without the needed equipment and accessories. Pele made the most of his dedication and discipline that he is considered the best soccer player of all times. We know that Brazil has five World Cup wins placing Brazil at the top. Brazil is the country with the most World Cup wins of all time. While seeing the achievements of Pele, one would be surprised to know that he not only battled poverty but also racism. This describes that we can improve and grow even amidst the times, circumstances, or hate that we may be going through. This describes that progress can be made even when there is hate and envy without cause. While evil attempts to cause individuals to hate based on superficial things, we learn that we can improve paying attention to the things that matter like improving oneself, attaining discipline and determination, and enjoying life while innovating, appreciating, and creating.

Robin Williams

 Robin Williams

Robin Williams was one of the greatest actors and comedians of all times. We learn that from his films that ranged from drama to comedy, Robin Williams was able to create amazing characters. We are able to remember the amazing characters that he gave life to. We are able to understand the importance of laughter and comedy even in these times that are not the best of times. We know that socialism and communism have attempted to prevent true comedy from being created in the past decade or so because laughter and humor can help us persevere amidst times. We learn about the importance of having humility to persevere knowing that we can have gladness of heart and cheerfulness amidst the times we are living in.

We learn that Robin Williams was able to display high energy and quick wit in the 1990s with amazing films that taught the beauty of seeing the positive of life. Robin Williams allowed us to understand not only the importance of humor and gladness while also allowing us to see the goodness of life. In his film about a robot who wants to know how it feels to be human, we see the beauty of being human. Robin Williams' character of a robot who wants to be human helps us know that there is beauty in being human and being distinct and unique. We learn that the robot did not want to be like everyone else nor be a robot.

We are able to realize that there are good things in being human and the manner that the film described the importance of humanity and authenticity. We learn that at the end of the movie, the robot wanted to actually be human rather than a robot. We learn that this describes the importance of our humanity that describes the need to appreciate the good things. We know that there are other films of post-modernism that try to diminish or critique the importance of being human, while forgetting or ridiculing the beauty of humanity. We are able to distinguish positive movies that help us persevere with positivity, humor, and goodness from negative, discouraging, and false and lying messages.

Patch Adams was another film that describes the importance of humanizing medicine with the portrayal of a real physician that went through hate and envy for being unique and different. We learn that the film Patch Adams described the importance of humility, responsibility, authenticity, and fraternity. Robin Williams was able to describe the importance of being human while taking care of patients. We learn that this describes the manner that human beings are more than clinical cases and diseases and that patients can also improve when there is genuine empathy, care, and kindness. This describes that medicine is not only a science and is actually also an art. Patch Adams described the importance of humor and kindness that is actually medicine. In these times, we know that we can learn so much from Patch Adams and the need to avoid arrogance and unneeded strife.

Bob Marley

                                Bob Marley

"You do not know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have."

Bob Marley was a singer and musician that was a pioneer to Reggae music. We learn that Reggae music was important in the 1990s with beautiful  rhythms, melodies, and lyrics about pacifism. We learn that Reggae described the importance of filial love, genuine empathy, and respect. We learn that Bob Marley had most of his songs speaking about the importance of loving one another with true genuine empathy and fraternity. This was different from other music genres that attempted to lead to lust, hate, and bitterness.

Reggae music had positive lyrics that described the importance of genuine empathy that describe the importance of pacifism. We learn that humanity is created to exist with respect and fraternity instead of being at odds for no reason. Reggae music talked about the need to acknowledge the importance of kindness and humility in our day to day lives. We know that Reggae music described the beauty of filial love and genuine empathy in life.

"When the power of love supercedes the love of power, humanity will live at peace."

We learn that Bob Marley had interesting sayings describing the importance of persevering with kindness and goodness. We learn that he was able to understand that the world is not perfect due to greed, envy, and hate, yet was able to describe the importance of exhibiting filial love and kindness to others. The lyrics of Bob Marley's songs describe the need to practice kindness and empathy while removing hate, anger, and envy.

We know that the 90s were amazing times because of beautiful music and lyrics that described the importance of kindness and filial love. Reggae was also a distinct and unique musical genre that incorporated relaxing rhythms, beautiful melodies, and most important of all, lyrics that made sense concerning how we can live in harmony and true joy without quarreling and division. We are able to acknowledge the importance of genuine empathy and kindness while removing hate, lust, and envy. This describes the importance of true equality seen in the practice of kindness and empathy that supercedes lust, envy, and hate.

Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee

"Do not pray for an easy life, pray to have the strength to endure a difficult one."

Before he was an actor, Bruce Lee was an instructor of martial arts. We learn that he had his own dojo where he instructed the use of martial arts for self-defense and also the importance of responsibility. We learn that Bruce Lee's dojo was one of the best dojos due to his discipline and determination. We learn that this caused the envy of other dojos. We know that even amidst the hate and envy, Bruce Lee kept instructing the responsible use of martial arts.

We learn that this describes the importance of responsibility knowing that martial arts were taught as a method of self-defense and not as a method to bully and intimidate without reason. There were other dojos that did not instruct the importance of responsibility that probably used their training for bullying and intimidation. We learn that this was a stark difference between Bruce Lee and other dojos. We learn that this describes the importance of discipline, responsibility, and determination.

"A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer."

We know that Bruce Lee also instructed pacifism that described the need to live in harmony and serenity with others. We know that this was a distinction of Bruce Lee because while he was one of the best martial artists, he was able to use his learning for good and not for irresponsibility and intimidation. We learn that he instructed his pupils on the importance of using the martial arts training for attaining discipline and good and not for evil. This caused the envy and resentment of other dojos. We learn that Bruce Lee persevered amidst difficulties.

There was also the distinction of Bruce Lee's physique that was different from the typical work out physique of the 70s and 80s. Bruce Lee was also different in the manner that he had a unique lean physique due to exercising, practicing martial arts, and having a proper diet. While not being bulky, we know that he had strength, speed, and resiliency. We know that Bruce Lee is considered one of the best if not the best martial artist. We can learn from Bruce Lee about the importance of authenticity, serenity, the need to keep learning, and having discipline.

"Humble enough to know that I am not better than anyone, but wise enough to know that I am different from the rest."

Frederic Bastiat

 Frederic Bastiat

"Having faith in the free market means having faith in the Creator."

Frederic Bastiat was a libertarian that described the importance of trusting in the Creator. We learn that he described the importance of the free market and the ability of individuals to practice free trade without monopoly "capitalism" and also without the false ideologies of socialism and communism. We learn that Bastiat recognized that trusting in the free market meant trusting in the Creator. This describes that the free market of true capitalism allows individuals to create and produce industry that allows for the best materials, produce, and ideas to be at the forefront while bad service, bad ideas, and bad produce are relegated to being forgotten.

This describes that the free market allows individuals to improve and produce industry when there is no corruption and no stagnation. The free market of true capitalism prevents bad service and bad products from being sold and instead allows for individuals to decide how they spend their time, resources, and have the imperative need to improve every day. This describes how there is freedom and autonomy in true capitalism while socialism, monopoly "capitalism", and communism attempt to decrease autonomy by creating obstacles and preventing a level playing field. We learn that socialism and communism attempt to prevent individuals from producing, innovating, and improving because socialism and communism leads to stagnation. We learn that monopoly "capitalism", socialism, and communism have more in common than true capitalism fashioned after Frederic Bastiat and Frederick Hayek.

We learn that the best products and services in a free market allow for individuals to obtain the best materials and services at reduced costs while allowing for competition. The competition that exists in true capitalism allows individuals to improve their services and products so that consumers get cheaper products and better services. We learn that socialism and communism attempt to discourage innovation by creating bureaucratic red tape that prevents innovation, incentives, and motivation. This is with the intention to limit individuals from improving themselves. We learn that this leads to increased costs of services and products while decreasing the quality of services. In socialism and communism, there are no incentives for improving, producing, and innovating because instead there is envy and coveting that prevents innovation. We learned from communist Cuba how the government attempted to prevent individuals from selling Cuban sandwiches because of their disdain for individuals to produce and create.

We learn that Frederic Bastiat was hated by socialists and communists in his time because of his stand for the free market, true capitalism, and objection to monopoly "capitalist", socialist, and communist policies that do not help anyone. This describes the importance of understanding and acknowledging that individuals are able to be industrious and productive far apart from the failed policies of monopoly "capitalism", socialism, and communism that have attempted to lead to slothfulness, envy, and coveting. We know that instead responsible capitalism describes the need to guard the importance of motivation, autonomy, and industry describing that we can be sovereign, industrious, and motivated even amidst the times.

Frederick Hayek

 Frederick Hayek

Frederick Hayek was an individual that is known for his economic policies described in the Austrian School of Economics. We know that Frederick Hayek described the importance of capitalism in order for individuals to better produce, create, and innovate. We learn that Frederick Hayek allowed individuals to know about the importance of true capitalism.

Frederick Hayek described the importance of competition in a capitalist system so that individuals would be able to produce better services and better products. We learn that competition that exists between companies or individuals allow for better services and products to be created. This allows us to understand why other policies describing monopoly "capitalism" and communism lead to a lack of competition, stagnation, and even worse products and services at increased costs.

We know that this allows us to know that we can not believe the temporary lies of false philosophies that have the intention to cause stagnation, vices, and essentially the practice of sin. We know that when there is competition and autonomy, individuals are able to keep improving so that they improve their knowledge of improving services and products that leads to better products and services and increased industry. This allows for there to be incentives for diligence, persistence, hard work, and motivation.

This is different from socialist and communist policies that have the intention to decrease motivation and hard work due to envy and slothfulness. We know that there have been extensive cases where we have seen the manner that socialist and communist policies lead to economic difficulties, negative emotions, and envy. In the case of Aleksandr Solzenitzyn, we learn that communism led to the communists not only attempting to prevent true capitalism but also lead to intrusion of privacy in the manner that the communists were reading the private letters of Solzenitzyn to his friends. This describes how socialism and communism do not help individuals and instead leads to a dystopia of impoverishment due to decreased autonomy, diligence, and improvement based on hard work and dedication. We know that not only are products and services affected, but communism also tries to prevent individuals from having autonomy. For this and so many reasons more, we know that monopoly "capitalism", socialism, and communism are not the best economic policies to practice. We know that true capitalism based on Frederic Bastiat's and Frederick Hayek's economic knowledge allows us to know that we can not accept monopoly "capitalism", socialism, nor communism.

St. Augustine

 St. Augustine

"The truth is like a lion, you do not have to defend it. Let it free and it will defend itself."

St. Augustine lived in the time of St. Ambrose of Milan who was his mentor and friend. We learn that the writings of St. Ambrose describe the importance of humility and temperance to resist arrogance, sin, and vices. St. Augustine also has writings that speak about the importance of worshiping GOD Almighty above everything with sincerity of heart. We learn that we can not practice idol worship because it does not help and attempts to lead to vices, stagnation, woes, and destruction.

St. Augustine spoke about the importance of speaking truth and giving priority to the worship of GOD Almighty. St. Augustine wrote about the manner that fidelity to GOD Almighty allows us to persevere and improve. St. Augustine's writings describe the importance of trusting in GOD Almighty so that we improve in virtues instead of vices. There is wisdom and understanding in knowing that only in the worship of GOD Almighty are we able to improve, learn, and increase in virtues. This is so that we do not believe the temporary lies of sin that want to lead to idol worship and vices.

"Thou, LORD, who for ever livest, and in whom nothing dies: for before the foundation of the worlds, and before all that can be called “before,” Thou art, and art GOD and LORD of all which Thou hast created."

There is wisdom describing the manner that GOD Almighty is the GOD of creation who created the Highest Heavens, lower heavens, the universe, the earth, creation, and everything. Even before the earth and the heavens were created, GOD Almighty existed, exists, and forever exists. GOD Almighty is Creator and LORD of all. We learn that this wisdom prevents us from practicing arrogance that wants to lead to disobedience to GOD Almighty. We learn that we can not practice disobedience because we are accountable to GOD Almighty and have responsibility to use our virtues and talents for the worship of GOD Almighty.

"Whence could such a being be, save from Thee, LORD? Shall any be his own artificer? or can there elsewhere be derived any vein, which may stream essence and life into us, save from thee, O LORD, in whom essence and life are one? for Thou Thyself art supremely Essence and Life."

We learn that GOD Almighty is the source of life and gives eternal salvation to individuals who choose to accept and confess King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior, obey the commandments of Moses, and repent of sin with sincerity of heart. We learn that GOD Almighty creates individuals and gives meaning and purpose even before they are in the womb, even before they are born, and even before they say their first words or take their steps. GOD Almighty is the Creator of everything including humanity and deserves the worship. St. Augustine describes the importance of humility and trusting in the Creator GOD Almighty instead of practicing idol worship.

St. Ambrose of Milan

 St. Ambrose of Milan

"Nature knows no rich, since she brings forth all men poor. For we are born without clothes and are brought forth without silver and gold. Naked she brings us to the light of day, and in want of food and covering and drink; and naked the earth receives back what she has brought forth, nor can she stretch man's tombs to cover their possessions."

St. Ambrose was the mentor and friend of St. Augustine. We learn that St. Augustine wrote about the importance of worshiping GOD Almighty above everything and the importance of speaking truth. St. Ambrose of Milan described the importance of humility to fight against greed, avarice, and coveting. We learn that Christianity describes the need to remove vices and prevent vices from developing while we grow in virtues instead.

"But why do you think that, even while you live, you have abundance of all things? Rich man, you know not how poor you are, how destitute you would seem even to yourself, who call yourself wealthy. The more you have, the more you want; and whatever you may acquire, you nevertheless remain as needy as before. Avarice is inflamed by gain, not diminished by it."

St. Ambrose has writings that describe the importance of developing humility and temperance so that we do not practice envy, avarice, and greed that attempt to lead to the practice of grave sin. We learn that righteous individuals in the Sacred Scriptures are able to have gratitude to GOD Almighty above everything and are able to persevere without envy and coveting. We learn that Job was able to persevere with abundance or without resources because he decided to worship GOD Almighty above everything. This describes the importance of placing the worship of GOD Almighty above everything including resources.

This describes the importance of being grateful to GOD Almighty for the good things that we have including favor, blessings, health, virtues that keep increasing in the worship of GOD Almighty, protection from sin, evil, and envy, being able to persevere with salvation, and eternal salvation. We are able to develop temperance and moderation that prevents envy from leading to coveting, greed, and avarice. If we are able to practice gratitude, temperance, and humility, then there is no envy, coveting, nor greed.

We learn that GOD Almighty is able to help us persevere with the things that we need. We learn that if we do not have something, it is because we do not need it. This describes the manner that we can also be grateful for the things that we do not have because some things attempt to lead to the practice of idolatry. This describes the manner that we can be thankful each day for the good things that we have and also having gratitude for the things that we do not have that we do not need. We know that the worship of GOD Almighty allows us to persevere with eternal salvation in King Jesus Christ and be far from temptations, sin, and vices that want to lead to woes, stagnation, and destruction of the unrepentant wicked.

Martin Luther

 Martin Luther

Martin Luther was a preacher and reformer that helped reform the Catholic church when there were specific practices that were inconsistent with Scripture. We learn that Martin Luther described the need to reform specific actions of the Catholic church including the removal of indulgences that were never a part of Scripture. In the times of Martin Luther, the Catholic church had accepted money in order to forgive sins. We learn that this practice is not from the Sacred Scriptures and was not approved by righteous individuals.

We learn that in the time of Martin Luther, the Catholic church had accepted indulgences that described the removal of sins through the exchange of money. We learn that this was never described in the Sacred Scriptures and was an unrighteous practice that was used. We learn that evil attempts to corrupt, and there is the need to resist sin and fight against evil. We are able to persevere with righteousness, zeal, humility, and fidelity to GOD Almighty.

Martin Luther wrote a large letter and placed it in the door of the Catholic church describing serious reforms that were needed so that there was no iniquity and corruption. We learn that Martin Luther described the importance of righteousness and the need to change specific actions that were not based on Scripture. We learn that with the creation of the Gutenberg press, individuals were able to mass print the Sacred Scriptures, and the Sacred Scriptures became the most read book of all time.

We learn that Martin Luther described the importance of reading and studying the Sacred Scriptures. There is nothing wrong with religion if it helps individuals persevere in the faith. The problem with false "religion" happens when it attempts to cause individuals to stray from the true faith. Martin Luther described the need to preach based on the Sacred Scriptures. We learn that Martin Luther had opposition from individuals that were not righteous and most likely added additional things that the Sacred Scriptures never stated. We learn that this time period led to the Reformation period where individuals learned about the importance of reading and studying Scripture for themselves while also practicing righteousness and fidelity to GOD Almighty.

Christopher Columbus

 Christopher Columbus

Cristopher Columbus is described being an explorer that was able to have the courage and valor to discover the Americas. We learn that at the time of Cristopher Columbus, there were no maps and no instructions of navigating to the New World. We learn that Cristopher Columbus decided to navigate to the Americas in order to preach Christianity. The intention was to preach Christianity to the New World. We learn that Cristopher Columbus was allowed to go on an expedition with a small number of ships in order to discover the land.

We learn from the story of Cristopher Columbus' voyage that he did not have maps, satellites, instructions, a large number of ships, and they did not know how long the expedition would take. During specific times while Cristopher Columbus and his ship crew were at sea, there were attempts at mutiny due to the amount of time that they had been in the sea. There were talks of throwing Christopher Columbus out of the ship from crew members who were tired of being at sea. We learn that even with these threats, Cristopher Columbus maintained composure and calmness.

While there were attempts to threaten Cristopher Columbus by some crew members, Cristopher Columbus did not give up knowing that he had a mission to help bring Christianity to the New World. We learn that Cristopher Columbus was not seeking wealth from the expedition seen in the manner that he had accepted to lead the expedition even when he was rejected the request to keep one percent of any gain that he may have obtained from the expedition. This describes the manner that Cristopher Columbus did not look to discover America in order to gain wealth or fame, and instead this was to worship GOD Almighty.

We learn that Christopher Columbus was able to persevere trusting in GOD Almighty. We learn that even with attempts at mutiny, Cristopher Columbus persevered with courage and hope. We learn that after months at high sea, Cristopher Columbus and his crew were able to find land and discover America in 1492. We learn that they managed to reach the New World and describe the importance of having determination, courage, and responsibility. Cristopher Columbus was able to return to Spain where they were able to prove that they had reached the Americas. We learn that this describes the importance of faith in GOD Almighty. We learn that due to the discovery of America, new expeditions were created to instruct Christianity and create churches and schools. Christianity was able to be preached in the New World.

Amerigo Vespucci

 Amerigo Vespucci

"GOD be praised: where we were received very well and beyond all belief: because all the city believed us lost: since the other ships of the fleet had all been lost through the arrogance and folly of our captain, for so GOD does reward pride."- The Fourth Voyage

Amerigo Vespucci was an explorer who was born in Portugal and was able to discover the Americas after Christopher Colombus had successfully completed his expedition. We learn that after the successful expedition of Christopher Columbus, other nations also attempted to send explorers to the New World. We learn that history attests to the manner that there were Christian nations that sent explorers in order to preach.

We learn that since Cristopher Columbus, Spain was able to build churches and schools in the Americas. We learn that this was with the intention to worship the Creator, GOD Almighty. Amerigo was also an explorer who placed the importance on the worship of GOD Almighty. Amerigo was able to make an expedition with ships from Portugal and was able to land in the Americas.

We learn from excerpts that were written from Amerigo, that he was able to successfully land in the New World with his expedition while other ships that were captained by an arrogant and irresponsible captain were destroyed. We learn that Amerigo describes the importance of humility in being able to persevere. In his letter, we read that he worships and praises GOD Almighty for being able to persevere in the expedition.

Amerigo also describes that the arrogant captain from another ship caused the ship to be destroyed and did not persist. This describes that we are supposed to persevere with humility in the worship of GOD Almighty. We learn that this describes the importance of worshiping GOD Almighty above everything and not practicing vices and arrogance.

We learn that he was able to fight against socialism and communism, have the vision to send a man to space, and described the importance of conservatism.

We learn that John F. Kennedy was an individual that was a devout Catholic. We learn that John F. Kennedy had chosen to fight against tyranny in his presidency being able to fight against the socialists and communists. We learn that socialism and communism attempted to stifle and prevent individuals from understanding the importance of practicing responsibility along with autonomy, liberty, and freedom. We know that John F. Kennedy had decided to fight against Cuba and against communism in the 1960s. While John F. Kennedy was fighting against tyranny, he was also fighting against poverty and helped the civil rights movement.

We learn that along with Martin Luther King, strides were made to fight against racism. John F. Kennedy was an individual that had decided to fight for the civil rights movement. We learn that there was racism that was still happening in the 1960s. John F. Kennedy had decided to stand and help individuals fight for their civil rights.

We learn that John F. Kennedy did not have an easy presidency knowing that there was opposition from communism and the Cold War. Yet, John F. Kennedy allowed individuals to know that there is the need to fight for ideals and values. We learn that John F. Kennedy did not falter and kept fighting against communism, poverty, and racism. John F. Kennedy allows us to know that individuals can make a difference being able to embolden the civil rights movement that gave individuals rights to fight against racism and envy that was apparent in the 1960s. We learn that the Soviet Union collapsed in the 1990s with the efforts of Pope John Paul II, Aleksandr Solsenitsyn, and Ronald Reagan who were individuals that fought against the temporary lies of communism and socialism.

Ralph Nader

 Ralph Nader

Ralph Nader is an individual that decided to represent the need to reform the auto industry in the 1970-1980s. We learn that the improved protection and safety that cars now have has been due to the efforts of Ralph Nader. Ralph Nader was able to fight for the rights of the consumers to have better equipment and better safety measures for cars. We learn that iniatially, cars had minimal safety measures and protective equipment. The air bags, reinforced doors, seat belts, and cushioning on cars that we now see had been improved due to the efforts of Ralph Nader.

We learn that there were multiple cases where cars were not safe to drive because they were made in a manner that placed the priority on profits over safety. There were cases where cars would combust spontaneously due to the lack of safety standards that existed at that time. Ralph Nader was able to fight for better cars with improved safety measures. We have seen the manner that car's safety measures have improved since the 1980s because of improvements, reforms, and better standards of quality that were not seen previously.

The story of how Ralph Nader fought for car consumer's rights to have better safety measures and improvements describes the importance of perseverance and truth. While the car industry attempted to prevent Ralph Nader from fighting in a disputed case, we learn that Ralph Nader kept speaking truth about the automobile's industry need to improve their vehicles to protect car consumer's health. We learn that this resulted in the car industry attempting to prevent Ralph Nader from continuing in the case.

Ralph Nader also described that the automobile industry had contracted a "private investigator" to get information on Ralph Nader to prevent him from speaking truth. We learn that none of the intimidations, harassment, and opposition detered Ralph Nader from fighting for individuals right's to better safety equipment in automobiles that are now seen in most vehicles.

Ron Paul

 Ron Paul

"You do not have to give up your liberties in order to be safe, in fact you are less safe when you give up your liberties."

Ron Paul is a libertarian that describes the importance of responsibility along with autonomy. We learn that Ron Paul described the importance of guarding our autonomy and freedoms from the threats of tyranny, totalitarianism, communism, and socialism. We are able to understand that we can not believe temporary lies that attempt to deceive into the practice of sin, idol worship, and vices. We learn from the Sacred Scriptures that with autonomy there is the need to be responsible.

We learn from Viktor E. Frankl about the manner that responsibility and accountability are needed when there is autonomy and freedom. This is so that there is no irresponsibility and arbitrariness that can occur when there is no responsibility and integrity. We learn that Ron Paul described the importance of fiscal responsibility and also defending our rights. We learn about the importance of truth and fighting the temporary lies of evil, sin, and idol worship.

We learn that Ron Paul described the importance of truth and being able to safeguard our rights from lies and deceit seen in socialist and communist nations in the past. We are able to persevere learning that we must give importance to our autonomy along with having responsibility and accountability. We learn that irresponsibility and lack of integrity can lead to difficulties and vices that do not help at all. We are able to learn that history has taught us that we can not believe the temporary lies of evil that want to lead to sin and irresponsibility.

We are able to practice gratitude being able to understand the significance and importance of persevering with integrity, ethics, morality, righteousness, responsibility, humility, and truth so that there is no arrogance and irresponsibility. We are able to appreciate the importance of speaking truth and being far apart from the temporary lies of sin that want individuals to decrease in virtues and practice irresponsibility.

George Orwell

 George Orwell

George Orwell was a literary critic and writer that wrote many essays and books. We learn that one of the most important books that George Orwell wrote was 1984 that describes a dystopian society where individuals are not allowed to think for themselves, and technology has attempted to remove autonomy, freedom, and empathy. We learn that George Orwell wrote against totalitarianism and communism.

George Orwell wrote about the flaws and lies of communism that attempted to "appear" to help when in reality attempted to lead to hypocrisy, decreased autonomy, decreased empathy, and suppression of free thinking and the free market. We learn that "wrong-think" is a word derived from "group-think". "Wrong-think" signifies in 1984 the hatred from communist and totalitarian sycophants of individuals who think for themselves. Any thought that was different, unique, and non-conformist was deemed "wrong-think" by the totalitarian and communist dictators and sycophants. "Group-think" describes the inability of an individual to think for oneself and instead leads to the individual to choose to go along with the crowd that is common of sycophants. We learn that this describes oppressive and totalitarian dystopias that fail to help individuals and instead lead to difficulties, stagnation, vices, and destruction of the wicked in the long run seen in the collapse of the Soviet Union and Nazi socialism. This describes the importance of practicing responsibility along with autonomy so that autonomy does not lead to iniquity. 1984 describes the manner that communism and totalitarianism uses lies to cause individuals to believe things that are never true.

"Then the face of Big Brother faded away again, and instead the three slogans of the Party stood out in bold capitals:

WAR is PEACE

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH"- 1984 (page 17)

In 1984, George Orwell describes an individual who is able to think for himself and resist the indoctrination of totalitarianism and communist like "group-think". Although, George Orwell wrote 1984 in 1949, the book is a warning against placing all hope and faith on repressive and totalitarian systems that only look to cause difficulties and stagnation.

George Orwell's critique for totalitarianism and communism is seen in 1984 where technology is used as a method to remove autonomy and freedom from individuals. We are able to understand the importance of free thinking, autonomy, freedom, and also responsibility. We are able to realize that with autonomy there is also the need to practice responsibility.

Bai Fang Li

 Bai Fang Li

Bai Fang Li is another individual that allows us to see the manner that genuine empathy and filial love allows us to make a difference. We learn that Bai Fang Li was a rickshaw driver that was able to work throughout his life into his 90s. We learn that he was able to donate money from his wages to schools so that children were able to receive an education. We learn that he donated wages so that 300 students who lived in poverty could go to school. We learn that he describes the importance of filial love and genuine empathy in wanting the best not only for oneself, but for others.

We learn that Bai Fang Li is another individual that helps understand the importance of having virtues and living a life that is positive instead of negative. We learn that Bai Fang Li worked until he was 93 years of age donating his wages so that children would be able to remain in school and keep studying. This describes the ideals and virtues of selflessness that prevent individuals from practicing vices including egoism, arrogance, and avarice. We learn that we are able to learn from the positive story of Bai Fang Li that each individual has the power to practice good.

We learn that Bai Fang Li's story describes the importance of having meaning and purpose in the betterment of not only oneself, and instead there is the manner that everyone can improve. This is something that happens when there is righteousness and genuine empathy for mankind instead of greed, avarice, and envy. We learn that this describes the importance that each individual has to make the world better regardless of its current state. We can preach, practice righteousness, and refuse to practice iniquity, slothfulness, greed, and coveting.

Instead of coveting, we learn from Bai Fang Li's example that individuals are able to help others with genuine empathy without ulterior motives. We know that we are able to persevere knowing that even in these past decades and times, there are righteous individuals that not only say that they practice righteousness, but most importantly, actually demostrate their righteousness by being genuine and righteous. This describes choosing to learn from righteous individuals that have virtues and forsake negative examples that have vices. We also learn that living a long life is a blessing seeing the manner that Bai Fang Li was able to live to the age of 93.

Dyado Dobri Dobrev

 Dyado Dobri Dobrev

We learn that there are righteous individuals that exist even when the news may not want to show positive examples. We learn that individuals do not have to have large sums of money or connections to make a difference in the world practicing genuine empathy and filial love. We learn that the news attempts to show negative examples to cause individuals to be discouraged about the current times we live in. We learn that even while we may not be living in the best of times, we are still able to place our attention to positive, virtuous, and righteous individuals instead of negative, conflicting, and controversy causing individuals. Individuals are still able to practice kindness and righteousness while being set apart from negative individuals that foment strife and division.

We learn that there are positive examples describing individuals that have decided to practice genuine empathy and filial love towards humanity. Dobri Dobrev is an individual who is 99 years of age who lost his hearing in the Second World War. He lives on a pension and decides to ask for alms so that he can donate the money to orphanages that can not pay their bills. We learn that he was able to walk 25 kilometers every day by foot from his village to a city in Bulgaria where he is able to receive alms. We learn that his age is not an impediment to keep practicing genuine empathy and goodness being able to walk for kilometers and persevere.

We learn that instead of using the money that he had received from alms for himself, we learn that Dobri Dobrev decided to give the money to orphanages. He has collected well over 40,000 dollars over the years, and donated the money to orphanages. We learn that he describes the importance of selflessness, filial love, genuine empathy, and goodness. We learn that this describes the manner that there are good people on earth. This describes that we can look to positive examples and highlight the positive attributes and qualities that they exhibit so that we learn about the importance of virtues and goodness.

They call Dobri Dobrev "Dyado Dobri" or Grandfather Dobri describing the good that individuals can accomplish when they decide to practice genuine empathy. We learn that he is able to have another birthday and will be a hundred years of age. We learn that he is from Baylovo and is considered "the saint of Baylovo". We learn that long life is a reward from GOD Almighty when individuals are righteous and decide to honor GOD Almighty with their life.
