Jonathan Edwards
Jonathan Edwards was an American Puritan preacher who preached about the importance of morality and ethics. We learn that the Sacred Scriptures describe the importance of worshiping GOD Almighty by practicing righteousness. Jonathan Edwards was a preacher who described that ethics and morality are innate given by GOD Almighty. We learn to differentiate right from wrong and good from evil. We learn that GOD Almighty instructs wisdom so that we know the difference between good and evil and choose to practice good.
Jonathan Edwards preached about the sanctity of life and the need to persevere in the path of salvation and goodness. We learn that human life has dignity and allows us to know that we can not practice sin and wickedness because that is foolishness. We learn that instead of fighting and being in unneeded conflict with others, we can improve and help each other practicing Christianity. We learn that humanity is created to worship the Creator and that we can respect humanity. We learn that the snake wants individuals to be at odds with one another for no reason based on gender, social class, ethnicity, and place of birth.
We learn that in the Puritanical societies of the United States in the colonial times there was persecution and envy from evil. We learn that there were actual witches that attempted to lead to conflict, division, and disobedience to the commandments of Moses. The witches attempted to cause conflict between the peaceful and harmonious Christian communities that existed. In history, there are lies that have been told that there were no witches in Salem and that Christians hated individuals for no reason. This is a blatant projection of evil. There are actual witches that hate righteousness and good. In the times of the Puritanical societies in the United States, there were actual witches who attempted to lead to adultery and idol worship. Righteous individuals persevered worshiping GOD Almighty and being far apart from the practice of idolatry. We learn that despite the opposition, there were righteous individuals that persevered preaching truth and obeying the commandments of Moses. We know this because Christianity has increased in America over the past five hundred years or so since the Pilgrims fled England to obtain religious freedom in the United States. We learn that Christianity is still being preached and the commandments of Moses are still being obeyed.
We learn that in the Puritanical societies of the United States, righteous preachers and individuals described the importance of keeping obedience to the commandments of Moses and fighting sin. We can not practice idolatry because we know that there is the understanding of justice, ethics, morality, and goodness. We learn that while there was opposition by adultresses, the righteous persevered preaching truth. We can understand based on Scripture that there have been adultresses and witches that have tried to cause difficulties seen in the stories of Jezebel, Athalia, and the adultress that followed and attempted to tempt Paul to adultery and who was denied by Paul each and every time.
