Andrew Breitbart

 Andrew Breitbart

Fearless Journalism

Andrew Breitbart was a journalist who created the Breitbart news blog. Breitbart initially started in the late 2000s or early 2010s describing the lies and deceit of the socialists and communists. Initially, the site described the incongruencies and discrepencies of socialism and communism. We learn that Breitbart included criticisms against leftist communists including writing about Venezuela, Cuba, and socialist countries. Breitbart described truth in his journalism that was not covered by other sources.

Breitbart was probably envied and went through difficulties for speaking truth in the early 2010s. Breitbart died at an early age, in his early fortys, after going for a jog from a heart attack. Breitbart was probably being intimidated for speaking and writing truth in the early 2010s. Breitbart covered not only the hypocrisy and double standards of socialism, but also exposed the drug trafficking that was happening along the border. Breitbart described the importance of speaking and writing truth in journalism.

Initially, Breitbart was a site that described the need to have healthy skepticism about socialism and communism. Breitbart has changed over the years (not for the better). Despite this, Andrew Breitbart is remembered for his courage in journalism. We learn that in the 2006-2012 time period, there were difficulties in Mexico due to drug use and drug trafficking. Breitbart covered this and allowed individuals to see that drug use does not help anyone.

Breitbart covered the manner that drug trafficking occured in the border and why illegal human smuggling was also a danger (This is with the understanding that there were news stories where individuals were left in cargo vehicles in hot weather without basic necessities while being transported by coyotes. Human smuggling is also used by drug traffickers.) This allowed us to know that if there is was no drug use in the United States, then there would be no need of drugs. If there is no demand, then there would be no need of drugs. This would prevent violence and overdoses from happening. We learn that drugs cause harm and are not recreational as post-modernism has attempted to make it seem. We can persevere without using illicit substances and persevere with motivation and gladness appreciating truth and ethical journalism.
