Cuban Journalists Since the 1960s

Cuban Journalists Since the 1960s

There are stories of Cuban journalists that disappeared since the 1960s because they decided to speak truth and write about how socialism was not helping Cuba. There are multiple stories of journalists that were either sent to a type of gulag or murdered for exposing the temporary lies of socialism in Cuba. This did not prevent Cubans from fighting for their civil rights and journalists kept publishing.

In the 1960s, it was noted that socialism was implemented undemocratically in Cuba when Cuba used to be democratic. There was an uprising and Castro was placed as socialist leader. Nuclear missiles were also placed in Cuba aimed at the US. Cuba became a socialist country with Fidel Castro and this led to a repression of freedom of speech. Journalists published the truth about how socialism does not help anyone. Cuban journalists were envied by socialists and some were either detained or murdered.

Despite the envy and opposition from socialists, journalists kept publishing the truth of how socialism has to do with corruption. Individuals began to see the truth about how socialism was preventing the economy from functioning and led to inequality. Cuban individuals even were prevented from selling cuban sandwiches because they were able to make a profit and better their finances.

Cuban individuals left Cuba in the 1990s and 2000s because of the corruption and inequality that existed. We learn that individuals left in raft boats than stay in Cuba. Individuals decided to leave Cuba and socialism behind. Individuals decided to choose for capitalism than be a socialist. This describes how socialism attempts to prevent the truth from being spoken, prevents competition in economics, and also attempts to prevent autonomy. Socialism looks to restrict individuals so that they do not improve and remain stagnated. That is why socialism hates Christianity, Democracy, and capitalism since they allow individuals to improve themselves through equality and equity. Socialism is the religion of envy that attempts to prevent harmony, empathy, and self-improvement. Even cuban sandwiches were restricted from being sold with the temporary lie that making a profit on selling food is greedy. There were actual snitches who tattled on individuals that sold cuban sandwiches. That is because the government did not have a monopoly on cuban sandwiches. We can persevere being grateful for our freedom of speech rights and also for persevering with motivation. We can also avoid socialism, socialists, and envy

Freedom of Speech and Avoiding (Nazi and Soviet) Lies

Fearless Journalism

Andrew Breitbart was a journalist who created the Breitbart news blog. Breitbart initially started in the late 2000s or early 2010s describing the lies and deceit of the socialists and communists. Initially, the site described the incongruencies and discrepencies of socialism and communism. We learn that Breitbart included criticisms against leftist communists including writing about Venezuela, Cuba, and socialist countries. Breitbart described truth in his journalism that was not covered by other sources.

Breitbart was probably envied and went through difficulties for speaking truth in the early 2010s. Breitbart died at an early age, in his early fortys, after going for a jog from a heart attack. Breitbart was probably being intimidated for speaking and writing truth in the early 2010s. Breitbart covered not only the hypocrisy and double standards of socialism, but also exposed the drug trafficking that was happening along the border. Breitbart described the importance of speaking and writing truth in journalism.

Initially, Breitbart was a site that described the need to have healthy skepticism about socialism and communism. Breitbart has changed over the years (not for the better). Despite this, Andrew Breitbart is remembered for his courage in journalism. We learn that in the 2006-2012 time period, there were difficulties in Mexico due to drug use and drug trafficking. Breitbart covered this and allowed individuals to see that drug use does not help anyone.

Breitbart covered the manner that drug trafficking occured in the border and why illegal human smuggling was also a danger (This is with the understanding that there were news stories where individuals were left in cargo vehicles in hot weather without basic necessities while being transported by coyotes. Human smuggling is also used by drug traffickers.) This allowed us to know that if there is was no drug use in the United States, then there would be no need of drugs. If there is no demand, then there would be no need of drugs. This would prevent violence and overdoses from happening. We learn that drugs cause harm and are not recreational as post-modernism has attempted to make it seem. We can persevere without using illicit substances and persevere with motivation and gladness appreciating truth and ethical journalism. We reject nazi and soviet lies of socialism.
