Major General McAuliffe

 Major General McAuliffe

Brig. General McAuliffe took the town of Bastogne, Belgium from the nazi socialist germans. McAuliffe was able to secure the town and allow for the Allied army to obtain territory in Europe.

In December 1944, American forces were surrounded and outnumbered by nazi socialist german forces. Brig. General McAuliffe did not fear and did not think much about being outnumbered.

The nazi socialist german commander told McAuliffe to surrender. McAuliffe did not want to send a response but ended up writing a message to the nazi socialist commander.

Despite being outnumbered, McAuliffe told the nazi commander that he was crazy, held his position, and kept fighting. American reinforcements would arrive and defeat the nazi socialist germans. It is noted that among the reinforcements included General Patton who was savy with tanks. The American forces would devastate the nazi socialists and win the war. Brig. General McAullife would receive honors and be promoted to Major General for his bravery and valor in the Second World War.
