Major General McAuliffe
Brig. General McAuliffe took the town of Bastogne, Belgium from the nazi socialist germans. McAuliffe was able to secure the town and allow for the Allied army obtained territory in Europe.
In December 1944, American forces were surrounded and outnumbered by nazi socialist german forces.
The nazi socialist german commander told McAuliffe to surrender .
Despite being outnumbered, McAuliffe told the nazi commander that he was crazy, held his position, and kept fighting. American reinforcements would arrive and defeat the nazi socialist germans.
