Cotton Mather
Cotton Mather was a preacher and pastor who graduated from university and decided to worship GOD Almighty above everything. Mather was considered a child prodigy being able to enter university at 12 years of age. Mather became a pastor who preached truth. Mather's grandfathers were Puritan preachers who developed the Massachusetts Bay Colony for Christians who were fleeing persecution from the British since the 1500s. (Seen in the story of the Pilgrims who fled England. We learn that William Tyndale was persecuted for translating the Scriptures from Hebrew to English.)
Cotton Mather was also a preacher describing that America was built by Pilgrims and Puritans. The Quaker William Penn built the city of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania in 1682 also as a territory for religious freedom and refuge from persecution. Cotton Mather wrote two books detailing the history of New England called, Magnalia Christi Americana, and also of the importance of discipline and righteousness called Bonifacius.
So great were his writings that Benjamin Franklin stated that if he was a good person it was because of Cotton Mather's writings. Franklin was industrious and inventive creating the bifocal lenses in the 1700s and supporting the call for American Independence. Mather's decided to dedicate his life to the worship of King Jesus Christ while being a child prodigy. (Post-modernism has tried to make people believe that only "dumb" people are righteous and that it is "intelligent" people that are idolatrous.)
Mather entered university at the age of 12, graduated, and worshiped GOD Almighty throughout his life. Mather preached and wrote books that influenced Franklin in a positive manner. Franklin was industrious and also benevolent. Franklin never patented his inventions seeing how they were meant to help others. Franklin also wrote extensively and created the Poor Richard's Almanac with positive quotes, sayings, and humor.
