Julius Caesar

 Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was the emperor of Rome who created times of stability. Julius Caesar helped unite Rome when there was instability. Julius Caesar was then hated and envied by Brutus and Cassius for being appreciated by the citizens of Rome. We learn that Brutus was given the opportunity to learn and be among the nobles of Rome. Julius Caesar had helped Brutus by providing for him the manner to learn among the nobility and rise above his circumstances.

Brutus appreciated Julius Caesar but also envied from afar once the influence of Cassius affected him. Cassius despised and envied Julius Caesar for being impressive and uniting Rome. Cassius hated Julius Caesar and plotted against him by first turning Brutus from Julius Caesar. Despite Julius Caesar having provided for Brutus' education, resources, and a place among the nobility, Brutus decided to envy and resent  Julius Caesar.

Brutus would join Cassius along with others and backstab Julius Caesar. When Julius Caesar was going to the senate he was backstabbed by more than 10 individuals. Brutus would stab Julius Caesar in the back to which Julius Caesar replied, "Et tu brute?" "You too Brutus?"The story of Julius Caesar describes the need to avoid treacherous, slimy, backstabbing snakes. Even in the Gentile world prior to Christianity, we learn that there was envy against impressive individuals by idolators.

Cassius and Brutus coud not stand Julius Caesar because of his self-discipline and dedication. Cassius was envious yet could not face Julius Caesar alone. We learn that we should be far apart from treacherous socialists and communists who hate and resent others for no reason. We should be sure to be cautious of individuals like Brutus who despite being helped backstab their benefactor. We can be far apart from individuals like Brutus in these times.
