Stephen, Who Wrote the End of the Spear

Stephen, Who Wrote the End of the Spear

Stephen who wrote the book, the End of the Spear, is a Christian that describes the power of forgiveness and preaching the Gospel. We learned from his story about how it is possible to persevere without negative emotions. Stephen's father was a missionary and pilot. Stephen's father had a small airplane and piloted the airplane to remote regions of South America (this happened probably in the 1980s or 1990s). He was able to learn about the location of a specific tribe that was still living far from civilization in the jungles of a specific South American country.

Stephen's father was able to make contact with that tribe in order to preach King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. Stephen's father took other individuals to preach the Gospel. When they reached the remote jungles of South America, the individuals from the native tribe began to attack the missionaries with spears. The individuals from the native tribe martyred Stephen's father and a few other missionaries by attacking them with spears.

Stephen learned about the circumstances that caused Stephen's father and missionaries to not return back home. Stephen being a Christian was able to put the resentments behind him and decided to preach to the native tribe that had attacked Stephen's father and missionaries. Instead of wanting vengeance and looking to hate the tribe of natives, he decided to forsake negative emotions and preach to the native tribe. Stephen described the power of forgiveness in Christianity knowing that resentments and hate do not help the individual.

Instead Stephen decided to preach to the same individuals who had attacked the missionaries. This describes the boldness that exists in Christianity also. Instead of having anger, Stephen knew that anger and hate were not going to help in any manner and instead decided to turn the adversity into an opportunity to preach. Years later, Stephen preached to the same natives that had attacked his father. Stephen was able to convert individuals to Christianity. Stephen was able to preach to the native who had practiced idol worship and described that he was deceived into practicing sin. The individual repented of his sin and accepted King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. The individual then went to live in North America and described the surprise of how individuals lived compared to the life in the remote jungles. Stephen's story describes the power of removing resentments, persevering with empathy, and preaching King Jesus Christ Eternal LORD and Savior. Stephen's father had made it to heaven along with the missionaries. Instead of having anger, he decided to preach to the individuals who martyred his father and the few missionaries. The individuals converted to Christianity. This describes that seeing the positive of everything allows individuals to persevere. (In these times, we need to be skeptical of false prophets (socialists) who are idolators and envious and avoid such people.) We learn that the Gospel keeps being preached to Israel and the world.

Figures of History and Individualism is written so that individuals can understand that there are righteous individuals who do not compromise their values and ethics for temporary momentary gain. While false doctrines and temporary lies try to tempt individuals towards the practice of sin and idolatry, we are reminded that righteous individuals exist and do not practice sin, envy, self-worship, idol worship, hate, covet, deceit, nor vices. We can persevere trusting in GOD Almighty and avoid false prophets and adultresses.
