The Female Surgeon in Her 80s or 90s Who Kept Being Industrious
There was the story of a female surgeon in Europe who was able to keep being productive and industrious despite being in her 80s or 90s. Despite being in her older age, she was still working conducting surgeries in the operating room. This describes that age is not a burden and instead can be seen as something positive. There are individuals who kept on being industrious despite being in their older age.
The female surgeon is not the only positive example being that there have been industrious individuals who kept working described in the psychiatrist, Viktor E. Frankl, and cardiothoracic surgeon, Michael Debakey. There are stories of amazing individuals who kept being industrious in their profession without decreasing in productivity despite their age.
We learn that the grandparents generation was quite impressive because they instructed the value of industriousness, humbleness, self-improvement, speaking truth, and contructively criticized slothfulness and being a busybody. We can have gratitude for such great examples of perseverance who kept being positive despite the times that they lived in the past century.
The previous century was not the greatest due to the great depression, World War I, World War II, and the Cold War, along with this century that has had the destabilization of the Middle East, banking system collapse in 2009, new diseases seen in swine flu and avian flu, E. bola, antibiotic resistant TB and yet they kept being positive and instructing truth.
