The Creators of the Film, Remember the Titans
The film Remember the Titans described the real life story of a High School that was looking to desegregate in the 1960s. The story describes Caucasian and African American student athletes playing together football in the High School team and attempting to get rid of racism. Initially, there were students that did not get along and did not want to play together.
Over time, the team is convinced to work together in order to win games. While there was racism initially, teammates began to cooperate and understand that racism has no place in civil society. The team began to improve and win games and describe that racism is not needed.
The movie does an amazing job portraying the importance of empathy and genuineness. In the 1960s, there were high schools that were being desegregated and there was opposition from racist socialists who did not want to relinquish the caste system of the past. The South had created a caste system that looked to prevent equal opportunity for individuals in order to propagate racism and inequality.
After the Civil Rights Movement fought against racism, Civil Rights Legislation was sent to Congress in 1963 and approved in 1964. High schools in the United States began to desegregate. Individuals of all races were able to obtain an education and play in sports having the equal opportunity to improve themselves. The film, Remember the Titans, was an amazing film reminding us to practice genuine empathy and to treat others the manner that we would like to be treated. The movie also has a great Motown soundtrack.
Choosing Encouraging Movies and Books Instead of Socialist Propaganda
We are able to choose encouraging information instead of discouraging propaganda. The same can be said of films and series. Remember the Titans is a good film to watch about the importance of practicing empathy and fraternity while eliminating racism and envy. There are multiple good sport films that teach valuable lessons. (We can also read about positive stories.). Glory Road describes how a college basketball team was able to win the NCAA National Tournament by starting the best players and not based on the color of the player's skin in the 1960s. We can choose films with positive messages instead of negative discouraging messages. If a film tries to promote lust, adultery, envy, hate, and deceit, then it is probably better to turn off the movie and television.
I did this for Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the 2000s being a teenager. Sabrina was displayed being benevolent, positive, helpful, and good while actually being an idolatrous witch. Witches are never benevolent and hate all men. I also turned off the Doors film when it was noted that Jim Morrison was practicing idolatry and sorcery making potions with witches. I did not see all the film yet read about how Morrison either harmed himself through a drug overdose or was envied by other socialists or maybe even a witch. Morrison allowed the fame to lead him to practice idolatry, have false friends, and have adultress witches as girlfriends and friends. Morrison had a lot of socialist adultress girlfriends and that did not help him. Socialists are envious. We can learn that we do not need fake friends nor adultresses who envy and resent others. We can choose positive movies that describe the need to keep discipline and motivation. We do not need fame, stagflated currency, fake friends, nor adultresses to persist with happiness. We can also avoid false information that wants to lead to the practice of idol worship. David and Paul both described how we must remove negative and discouraging information. David says that he will know nothing of evil. Paul says that bad company corrupts good morals. We should learn to remove negative and bad information and avoid bad company describing socialists and adultresses.
