Rocky Marciano
Rocky Marciano was an Italian American boxer in the 1940s who became one of the most dedicated and disciplined boxers of all time. Marciano ended his boxing career undefeated never losing a single fight against another boxer. Marciano fought more than 40 fights without a single loss. He is denoted as being the greatest boxer of all times by many boxing enthusiasts.
Marciano also exemplified the importance of keeping dedication and discipline in one's life. Marciano was not a party goer and was a conservative being a devout Catholic. Marciano took his training with much seriousness and was noted to be among the most physicially fit boxers of his time. He never tired out and his dedication could not be matched.
Marciano was able to outtrain the competition keeping intense cardio workouts almost everyday along with boxing practice. Marciano took intense cardio workouts to outlast his competition and accomplished his goals. Marciano described that dedication to a sport is important and that cardio workouts are needed to maintain stamina.
Marciano also was not resentful and envious. Marciano respected his competitors and never went into underhanded ways to remove competitors from being competition. Instead of leading others to the party life or using fake relationships to make other boxers decline, Marciano worked harder than other boxers and took cardio seriously. Marciano was a natural born competitor and kept to fair play and healthy competition. His belief probably was also important never harboring resentments and leaving the negative emotions in the boxing ring.
