Didier Drogba was a soccer player that played for the national team of the Ivory Coast and also for Chelsea. Drogba was able to be an amazing striking forward who scored multiple goals. Drogba was able to win a Champion's League Final playing against Barcelona in the 2010s. 

During the impressive final, Barcelona was neutralized through an impressive defense that led to an amazing competitive soccer match. Drogba played in the winger position instead of the striking forward position for the match against Barcelona. This was because Chelsea was using a defense that prioritized containing an impressive attack.

Drogba instead of staying on top was seen sprinting down to midfield and defense. Drogba was able to play defense instead of staying in the top half of the field. The defensive strategy utilized a defense that was able to prevent the scoring of Barcelona's strikers and midfield which had utilized tiki taka (a strategy of constant passes and pressuring when defending) to keep the ball and control the midfield. 

Chelsea was able to play an impressive 90 minutes that prevented any scoring from Barcelona. Drogba played midfielder throughout the match, and Chelsea was able to keep Barcelona from scoring. Through a counter attack, Chelsea beat Barcelona. The match was fantastic seeing how no team had posed opposition to Barcelona's winning streak in the Champion's until Chelsea was able to utilize an impressive defense strategy that neutralized Barcelona's attack. This describes how competive soccer is impressive and how sports are supposed to allow for competition. We can remind ourselves that despite the non-compete times that we live in, we can persevere seeing the positive side of life. Sports are supposed to allow for true competition without favoritism and allow for healthy competition. Socialists hate competition. This amazing Champion's Final also happened prior to covid. We can persevere knowing that socialism also has prevented sports from being competitive including in American football in the 2010s and baseball in the 1940s.
