The Series of Rocky and Bullwinkle
I recently read in the Readers Digest book of America about how the series Rocky and Bullwinkle was pretty good. The series was created in the 1950s and was cherished by Americans for its good, clean humor. The cartoon appealled to both children and adults because it was lighthearted and also contained American history.
I had never seen an episode on television yet had seen plush toys of the flying squarrel, Rocky, and the bullmoose, Bullwinkle. I looked up the cartoon on Youtube and found a few episodes that were so good. One episode describes how Bullwinkle becomes a college Quarterback and became a sensation.
The episode describes how as soon as he was a great quarterback, he was sabotaged by soviet agent Boris and his girlfriend Natasha. The episode references Marilyn Monroe and may allude to her use of relationships to manipulate men. Boris is envious of Bullwinkle who is in college and winning games.
The episode lasts 40 minutes yet has different shorter segments. The episode is so good. Boris and Natasha try to sabotage Rocky and Bullwinkle yet they persist due to their innocence and goodness. Rocky is highly skeptical of Boris and Natasha's plot and advices Bullwinkle on not believing the soviets.
