Mrs. Everest was the nanny of Winston Spencer Churchill, and the person who probably had a significant impact on Churchill being a good person. Mrs. Everest was from the working class and was a Christian. She was a humble and responsible individual who cared for Churchill when he was a child. Mrs. Everest practiced genuine empathy and allowed Churchill to have filial love when he was neglected by both parents.

Churchill grew up affluent yet his parents did not care about him. Churchill grew up being cared by Mrs. Everest instead. Churchill yearned for his parents attention and affection, yet was neglected at a young age. Churchill wrote letters to his parents who also did not respond to his writings. Churchill was able to learn about empathy and kindness because of his nanny. Mrs. Everest listened to Churchill and even provided a nurturing environment that allowed Churchill to improve.

Churchill did not understand how Mrs. Everest could have cared and provided him with filial love. Churchill noticed that it was illogical how Mrs. Everest could have cared about Churchill even though Mrs. Everest was not related to Churchill. This describes how filial love has the manner of improving individuals and making them better. Filial love and genuine empathy that is real can actually help and improve a person. While Churchill was growing up, he was able to understand the value of genuine empathy and filial love from his nanny that prevented him from being false and envious.

Churchill wrote letters to his nanny, and she would return the correspondence. When Churchill was sick, she attended to him. Churchill would invite her to school, and she would go to visit Churchill at school. Others boys were surprised that Churchill cared about his nanny even introducing her to teachers when that was not done. A boy described how Churchill was brave to have taken his nanny to school. Churchill actually cared about Mrs. Everest. Her attention and affection allowed for Churchill to care about the working class. Churchill would appreciate and acknowledge Mrs. Everest being the individual that had the most impact in his life for good when growing up. Mrs. Everest was responsible for raising up an impressive individual that was positive, brave, good, and benevolent. There is no doubt that Mrs. Everest was a Christian woman.
