Samuel Adams

 Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams was an individual that favored Democracy and fought against the tyrannical British in the 1770s. Samuel Adams along with John Hancock were two individuals that favored independence from Britain. They were in favor of being independent and self governing. When patriots gathered to discuss the option of independence, Adams and Hancock agreed to support Democracy.

"We hold that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."- Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson would write the Declaration of Independence due to his amazing writing style. After writing the Declaration of Independence, it was approved and multiple individuals including Hancock and Adams signed the parchment. When the British found out, they sent an army to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock, yet the brave and courageous Paul Revere notified them that the British were seeking to aprehend them.

Paul Revere risked his life to help his American bretheren and woke up Samuel Adams and John Hancock in the night. Samuel Adams and John Hancock were able to avoid capture, and American militia members defended themselves from the British. When Paul Revere was about to be captured, American militia forces shot at British forces and scattered them. Paul Revere was able to persevere with bravery.

Samuel Adams would help fight against tyranny and described how Democracy is favored. The Founding Fathers of 1776 were impressive because they allowed us to know that Democracy is more impressive than socialism. America thrived because of Democracy. We learn that America began to improve because individuals were rewarded based on merit, discipline, empathy, and hard work, and not based on favoritism, sycophantry, envy, and corruption. We learn that Thomas Jefferson became president of the US
