Cuban Journalists Since the 1960s
There are stories of Cuban journalists that disappeared since the 1960s because they decided to speak truth and write about how socialism was not helping Cuba. There are multiple stories of journalists that were either sent to a type of gulag or murdered for exposing the temporary lies of socialism in Cuba. This did not prevent Cubans from fighting for their civil rights and journalists kept publishing.
In the 1960s, it was noted that socialism was implemented undemocratically in Cuba when Cuba used to be democratic. There was an uprising and Castro was placed as socialist leader. Nuclear missiles were also placed in Cuba aimed at the US. Cuba became a socialist country with Fidel Castro and this led to a repression of freedom of speech. Journalists published the truth about how socialism does not help anyone. Cuban journalists were envied by socialists and some were either detained or murdered.
Despite the envy and opposition from socialists, journalists kept publishing the truth of how socialism has to do with corruption. Individuals began to see the truth about how socialism was preventing the economy from functioning and led to inequality. Cuban individuals even were prevented from selling cuban sandwiches because they were able to make a profit and better their finances.
Cuban individuals left Cuba in the 1990s and 2000s because of the corruption and inequality that existed. We learn that individuals left in raft boats than stay in Cuba. Individuals decided to leave Cuba and socialism behind. Individuals decided to choose for capitalism than be a socialist. This describes how socialism attempts to prevent the truth from being spoken, prevents competition in economics, and also attempts to prevent autonomy. Socialism looks to restrict individuals so that they do not improve and remain stagnated. That is why socialism hates Christianity, Democracy, and capitalism since they allow individuals to improve themselves through equality and equity. Socialism is the religion of envy that attempts to prevent harmony, empathy, and self-improvement. Even cuban sandwiches were restricted from being sold with the temporary lie that making a profit on selling food is greedy. There were actual snitches who tattled on individuals that sold cuban sandwiches. That is because the government did not have a monopoly on cuban sandwiches. We can persevere being grateful for our freedom of speech rights and also for persevering with motivation. We can also avoid socialism, socialists, and envy.
