Pope Clement XII
Pope Clement XII was a Catholic priest who later would be the Pope in 1730. Pope Clement XII was known for issuing an edict that Catholics could not be masons. This was important because it described how masonry is incompatible with Christianity. This is important since there are socialist "catholics" who are actually fake christians. Pope Clement XII made the edict in 1730.
This means that Christians knew that freemasonry is not good. Christians knew in the 1700s that masonry is actually of the accuser. Even in the 1700s, Catholics knew about the truth. Secret societies are not benevolent and hide that they oppose Christianity.
Multiple individuals began to understand this and may be the reason why masonry was denounced. In the 1830s, masonry was denounced by the Anti-masonic party in the United States. Anti-mason Christians guarded themselves from lies and deceit of wicked individuals who do not have loyalties to their bretheren nor to their country.
All masons are socialists and hate Christianity. We can persevere avoiding false "knowledge" and masons. Masons have persecuted talented and faithful individuals. Chopin and Vivaldi (and possibly Schubert) were probably sabotaged and persecuted by socialist masons who envied their discipline and talent. Christian individuals probably began to understand that masonry was not good in the 1700s and 1800s. History attests to this. We can persist avoiding fake religion and fake comradery. Also read stories of two masons who left masonry because it was not based on truth. Another story described that a mason was murdered "accidently" while being initiated to masonry. The individual had to walk blindfolded nearing a sharp object (i.e. a knife or sword) and trust the other masons. While walking he was stabbed with a sharp object and died. Apparently, the individual was envied. Such stories describe how masonry should be avoided. Catholicism opposed masonry since the 1700s. Also may describe why fake "protestants" hated Catholicism in the US in the 1960s. We can have skepticism of fake catholics, fake protestants, and fake orthodox "christians" who are socialists.
